We, the PAWLIK Group, held our first congress in 2002. We started with the idea of inviting top-class speakers from various social groups to discuss forward-looking issues. As a consulting company that focuses on people, we have always concerned ourselves with personality traits that are critical to success. We never ran out of topics, and so we pick a new subject to focus on and present to the 250 guests who attend every year Today, the PAWLIK Congress is one of the most important speaking events for executives.
Joachim Pawlik is founder and CEO of the PAWLIK Group, an international consulting group headquartered in Hamburg. He is also CEO of PINKTUM, a leader in digital HR development.
Joachim Pawlik is one of the best-known pioneers of leadership and human resources development in Germany. He puts people at the center of entrepreneurial success. Born in Hamburg, he played professionally for FC St. Pauli, where he was Vice President for six years. As host and initiator of the Pawlik Congress, Joachim Pawlik opens the event each year with a presentation in which he makes the main theme practically tangible for the audience from an entrepreneur’s perspective.
Renate Bülk is co-initiator of the PAWLIK Congress and was the marketing director of PAWLIK Consultants for many years. She created the concept for the event from the first year up to the 20th anniversary edition “The New Empathy” and curated top-class speakers every year.

At the PAWLIK Congress, personalities from politics, business, science, sports and culture give presentations about their personal views and experiences regarding the year’s main topic. Some of the people that have spoken at the event in the past are Reinhold Messner, Sigmar Gabriel, Barbara Schöneberger, Joe Kaeser, Daniel Kahneman, Bob Geldorf, Oliver Kahn and many more.
At the exclusive Congress Eve Event, another special guest is interviewed by Dunja Hayali. Past guests at this event include Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman, who has long inspired our work, as well as whistleblower Edward Snowden, who joined us from a secret location at the time.
