The PAWLIK Congress is the networking event in northern Germany for entrepreneurs, managing directors and managers. The PAWLIK Congress is characterized by knowledge impulses and individual perspectives of successful personalities from politics, business, science, sport and culture. Since 2002, we have set a new theme each year dealing with personality traits, leadership and achieving challenging goals. Prominent speakers such as Edward Snowden, Reinhold Messner, Alena Buyx and Christian Lindner speak to around 250 participants.
The PAWLIK Congress traditionally takes place in Hamburg’s Gastwerk Hotel. The old brick walls, steel elements and spacious halls in the former gasworks in Hamburg’s Altona district provide an atmospheric backdrop for the event. We value the inspiring setting for the speeches and personal discussions as much as the great cuisine. The exclusive Congress Eve Event will also take place at the Gastwerk Hotel.
We want to continue to grow together with you. Our partner and subsidiary PINKTUM, a leading company for digital HR development, also broadcast the PAWLIK Congress held in Hamburg as a digital event.
This made it possible to take part in the exclusive event worldwide via a high-quality livestream.

Germany’s most successful biathlete of all time, Magdalena Neuner, and the Mexican conductor Alondra de la Parra are among those speaking on the subject of “AND NOW – WAYS FORWARD”. The keynote address will be held by host Joachim Pawlik. Journalist and TV presenter Dunja Hayali will lead the two-day event.

Oliver Bierhoff is one of the most influential figures in German soccer. A European soccer champion, he scored the golden goal in 1996 and was an official at the DFB (German Football Association) for a total of 18 years.
Oliver Bierhoff, born in Karlsruhe in 1968, began his career at Bayer Uerdingen and went on to play for Hamburger SV, Borussia Mönchengladbach, AC Milan and AS Monaco. The key moments of his career include winning the European Championship in 1996, during which he scored the decisive “golden goal” in the final match, and being named the top scorer in Serie A in 1998. He played a total of 70 international matches and scored 37 goals for the German national team.
After his active career, which he ended in 2003, Bierhoff became team manager of the German national team in 2004. In 2018, he took over as director of the national teams and the DFB Academy, where he united women’s and men’s soccer under a common strategy for the first time. He also initiated the youth football program “Projekt Zukunft” (Project: Future). Bierhoff, who speaks fluent Italian and English, has made a name for himself as a dedicated and visionary soccer official, gaining recognition beyond his playing career. In 2022, Bierhoff was appointed Business Advisor by the New England Patriots (six-time NFL Super Bowl champions).

Born in 1961 in Aachen, Armin Laschet studied law in Munich and Bonn after graduating from high school. After passing the first state examination, he worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief of the Aachen Church Newspaper, later becoming the managing director of a Catholic publishing house. He has been a member of the CDU since 1979 and began his political career as an advisor to the President of the Bundestag, Rita Süssmuth. In 1994, he was elected to the German Bundestag, and from 1999 to 2005, he was a member of the European Parliament. He then served as Minister for Generations, Family, Women, and Integration until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, he was Parliamentary Managing Director of the CDU parliamentary group, and then its chairman until 2017. From 2017 to 2021, he was the Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia, leading a conservative-liberal coalition government. In 2021, he was the Union’s candidate for Chancellor and from 2021 to 2022, the Federal Chairman of the CDU. Laschet’s political commitment to a Europe without borders is not only a political necessity for him but also a heartfelt matter.
